Energy Cells was among the finalists for its unique 200 MW grid-integrated storage system project, which ensures the stability of the Lithuanian energy system by providing an isolated mode reserve service. It is currently the largest battery energy storage system in Europe, contributing to regional energy security and ensuring Lithuania’s energy independence.

The Energy Storage Awards is one of the most important international events in the energy storage sector, attracting more than 350 entrants competing in more than 20 categories and a judging team of dozens of energy professionals from around the world. The awards are designed to showcase and honour the most important innovations and achievements in the fast-growing energy storage sector.

The winners will be announced on November 21.
